An Introduction to Making Watercolour Paint with Foraged Earth

Description :
Join Wild Dot in a sensory experience to make your own paint, and discover the different types of natural pigments found in Singapore that the team found, made and worked with. Participants will learn the steps to process clay rocks into colour pigments, the ingredients that go into a watercolour binder, and finally mull the pigments and binder by hand into their own unique pan of earth watercolour to bring home.

All tools, materials are provided and no prior knowledge is necessary. You'll get to take home about 3-3.5ml of paint stored in a pod made with upcycled wood offcuts.

Note: As all wood pieces are unique on its own, the size and exact look of the palette might differ slightly!

In order to ensure that our premises comply with the government's recommendations for safe reopening, we are keeping it at a maximum of 8 pax for this session and all studio users must comply with the following:⁣

We ask that you refrain from attending this upcoming workshop session if;

  1. You have received or is in close proximity with anyone with SHN in the last 14 days from workshop date.
  2. You are feeling unwell.
  3. You have had a fever of 37.5ºC or higher.

A refund of 50% of the workshop fee will be issued for all the cancellations made in writing and received less than 7 days prior to the workshop date. 

Cancellation for your slot for this workshop due to any COVID-19 related reasons would only be allowed full refund at our own discretion on a case-by-case basis.

No refunds or credits will be issued for No Shows on the day of the workshop.
