Joseph Chiang is a Singapore-based artist and printmaker and the founder of Monster Gallery, a creative print studio that produces original prints and conducts printmaking workshops. He is also the founder of the Young Printmakers League, a mentorship programme supported by Noise Singapore which aims to nurture the next generation of creative printmakers. He was commissioned by the National Arts Council to organize the Contemporary Printmaking Festival as part of Singapore Art Week 2017. He has exhibited in Singapore and internationally, and represented Singapore at the 10th World Triennale of Original Prints and Engravings in Chamalieres, France in 2017.
Joseph is also in the pioneer batch of The Balvenie Connoisseurs of Craft.Location :
In this 2-hour workshop, participants will learn how to make a simple linocut print. With the process from designing an image, to transferring the image to a linoleum, carving, and finally making the print.
All tools and materials will be provided, no prior knowledge is necessary.Cancellation Clause :
The General Co reserves the right to cancel or postpone the workshop in the event that the minimum sign-up rate is not met. Full refunds will be issued to participants in the event of a cancellation.
A refund of 50% of the workshop fee will be issued for all the cancellations made in writing and received less than 7 days prior to the workshop date.
No refunds or credits will be issued for No Shows on the day of the workshop.
