In this workshop you’ll learn how to make your own designer candy, as Olivia Lee helps you rediscover the various dimensions of fragrance, flavour and texture in confectionery making. With ingredients sourced from various food cultures around the world, this sensory experience will help you develop your own flavour vocabulary. You will learn to work and cast sugar with spices and dried fruit; amongst others, and harmonise different ingredients through taste, aesthetics and your imagination over the course of this 3 hour workshop.
Participants get to take away a customised pack of designer candy!
Also, there will be a whisky sampling bar setup by The Balvenie where you can try out some of their popular expressions over the course of the workshop.
All tools and materials are provided. No prior knowledge is required.
Special Note :
This workshop will involve contact with a variety of spices and ingredients including and not restricted to nuts hence is might not be suitable for individuals with allergies to nuts.
Cancellation Clause :
A refund of 50% of the workshop fee will be issued for all the cancellations made in writing and received less than 7 days prior to the workshop date.
No refunds or credits will be issued for No Shows on the day of the workshop.
